Publication Updates

I haven’t been particularly busy on the website lately - but I’ve been pretty busy in the world of publishing.

A feature review of The Faithful, a 3-part Fox series that’s streaming on Hulu, is up on Sojourners.
I’ve also got an article on horror as a part of Lenten spirituality up in The Presbyterian Outlook.

And while it’s not about new publications per se, there’s also the exciting news that the Oxford Handbook of Biblical Monsters is a finalist for the Bram Stoker Award, in the category of non-fiction. I’ll be at the awards banquet this June - say hi if you’ll be there too! And voting for the British Fantasy Awards is ongoing - Scared by the Bible is eligible in the non-fiction category.

And perhaps most excitingly, Concerning Dust and Ashesis published digitally by Oxford University Press, and is available through their databases. The hardcover drops in June - and will get a post of its own. But check out the digital version if your institution subscribes!
